THE MK1. PRECISION MEETS SPEED.

The MK1 is the high-performance evolution of the Renegade lineage. While the MK66 was built to be a tank, the MK1 is a race car—a precision instrument engineered for the clock, where tenths of a second distinguish the victor from the forgotten.

It retains The Foundation: Our signature patented FTLS™ (Forward Trunnion Lock System) Upper Receiver, machined from a solid block of 7075-T6 billet. Even in a lightweight application, rigidity is paramount. The massive integrated forward trunnion acts as the chassis, ensuring that optic and barrel alignment remain absolute, regardless of barricade impacts or heat stress.

The Carbon Core: Inside the trunnion “vault,” mass has been traded for technology. The MK1 features a BSF Carbon Fiber barrel—a match-grade 416R Stainless Steel core jacketed in roll-wrapped carbon fiber under tension. This system provides the stiffness of a bull barrel with the weight of a pencil profile. Secured via our undersized Thermal-Fit Bore, the barrel extension is frozen while the receiver is heated, creating a molecular-level interference fit that eliminates harmonic vibration.

The Engine: Speed requires balance. The MK1 utilizes a tuned Direct Impingement system regulated by a Superlative Arms Bleed-Off™ gas block, venting excess pressure forward to reduce felt recoil and blowback. The entire receiver set is plated in High-Phosphorus Electroless Nickel, giving the rifle a distinctive “Gunmetal” satin finish. This coating offers a microscopic coefficient of friction, allowing the bolt carrier group to cycle with hydraulic smoothness, even when dry.

The Interface: The handguard and lower receiver are skeletonized for pure agility. We have deleted the center section of the top rail—creating an Interrupted Deck—to shave ounces and allow for a specialized “C-Clamp” grip. While it lacks the heavy mounting platforms of the MK66, it retains the 11-bolt radial array, ensuring the handguard acts as a constrained layer damper for the barrel system.

The Trigger: A race car demands a hair-trigger response. The MK1 is equipped with a TriggerTech™ Competitive, single staged and featuring a zero-creep break, ensuring that the connection between the shooter’s mind and the round downrange is instantaneous.
